Arise seeks to manifest God’s infinite love for every human person by making it easier to connect people and strengthen the Church.
In this way, we can go from surviving day to day to thriving day to day.
Christ compels us to “love one another as [He] has loved [us]” (John 13:34) and to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt 22:39). YOUR support will help those who are struggling to ARISE and feel the love of Christ in His Church.

Our goal is to build a database of willing people so we can streamline the process for connecting those in need with those willing to help. We will always reach out to you first and make sure you are able to help out.
Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality ministry seeks to facilitate the process of integrating families into our community. Endless families flock to Steubenville and it’s becoming a real hub. Sometimes new families struggle to find their ‘friend’ group or to feel like they have a place. Some families moved a while back but feel like they do not belong. Did you know hospitality is a virtue AND charismatic gift of the Holy Spirit? If you want to help but you’re not the best host/hostess, pray for the gift of hospitality! The Lord will not disappoint.
Works of Mercy Ministry
The Works of Mercy ministry seeks to help the Church live out both the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. We are asking people to volunteer their time and gifts to serve people who have reached a difficult time in their life and need help transitioning back to ‘normal.’ This could involve receiving: prayer, meals, light house work, free childcare, and/or simply grabbing your favorite beverage and lending an ear. You can also donate to our financial fund dedicated to providing for the Works of mercy ministry.
Childcare Ministry
The Childcare ministry seeks to connect reliable and trustworthy nannies and babysitters with the right families. Do you love children? Do you have experience? Believe it or not, people are dying to PAY you to take care of their children. Whether it be a working mom who wants her children to be in the right hands or a mom who needs only a few hours here and there so she can get some tender love and care, the need is real! Sorry for my run-on-sentence… the Holy Spirit speaks in run-on-sentences.
